Calera High School Library is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair Oct. 19–23 during Teen Read Week.

To help promote Teen Read Week and our Bookfair, the school held a Design a Bookmark contest for students.

One winner was selected from each grade. About 80 students entered the contest.

With the help of the Calera UPS Store, the school also reproduced the bookmark entries for student use.

Winners were: 12th grade Ray Gosha, 11th grade Annabelle Maas, 10th grade Carolina Sanchez, ninth grade Karissa Krause, eighth grade Alondra Cruz and seventh grade Taylor Smith.
