Carolyn Endsley Cashion was given an 80th birthday celebration by her children and grandchildren Oct. 18, 2009, at the Helena Senior Center.

There was such a host of family and friends that there was standing room only at one point, which showed her how much she was loved. Party goers enjoyed a video of Cashion’s life was shown, a cake with her picture on it and an array of food.

Cashion graduated in 1946 from Fairfield High School, married Carlos Eugene Cashion in June 1946, had three children, Carlos Eugene Jr., Deborah Lynn and Alan Blake. She has three grandchildren, Tim Cashion, Jackie Cashion and Michelle Schlehmeier, and four great-grandchildren, Lee Alan, Kelsi, Hunter and Meri.
