Funeral service for Billy “Buddy” Thomas, 57, of Columbiana, will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at Bolton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Columbiana City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Thomas, who passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at his home, was born Nov. 4, 1952, in Shelby County, Alabama. He worked for the Highway Department – ALDOT.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Thomas; sons, R. J. Fairchild, Sonny (Amy) Tompkins; daughters, Gracie Douglas, Amanda Douglas, Summer Thomas; mother, Lillie Thomas; sisters, Billie (Alvin) McNeal, Etta Lawley, Susie Snow, Peggy (Ralph) Garner; grandchildren, Tami Tompkins, Sonny Tompkins, Jr., Aubri Sims, Izaiah Garner and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
