Several area residents participated in a recent White Coat ceremony for members of the Class of 2013 at Samford University’s McWhorter School of Pharmacy.

New students include: Lucas Beech of Helena; Lindsey Alaine Harden Bates, Cain Anne Boxx, Andrew Henderson, Ryan Christopher Norman and Michael Peters, all of Hoover; Jenee Ann McBee and Todd Seales, both of Montevallo; Elizabeth Coxhead and Cedrick T. Kousok, both of North Shelby; Katie Carrier and John McKay, both of Pelham; and Patty Callahan, Doug McKay and Joseph Wallace Mbathi, both of Riverchase.
