Columbiana is the place to be this holiday season.

The hottest ticket in town is for the First Baptist Church’s Dinner Theatre.

“Uncle Phil’s Diner”is a unique night of music and vignettes with actors interacting with guests. The evening will be held Dec. 10-13 at 6:30 p.m. nightly. Tickets are $10 plus two cans of food to be donated. Call 669-3128 for tickets.

For a free night of beautiful music, the Columbiana United Methodist Church is having a musical cantata on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. The service is called “Colors and Carols” and will include the traditional hanging of the greens.

The Church of the Nazarene, located on Highway 25, is staging its annual Living Nativity Dec. 12-13 from 6-9 p.m. The first Christmas will be as it was so many years ago —outdoors in a stable with Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus in a manger.

Saturday, Dec. 5 is a very special day. The annual Christmas Tour of Homes, sponsored by the Columbiana Beautification Board will be from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Four beautiful homes are featured this year.

The Shelby County Arts Council Christmas Artist Market will also be open, with fabulous created by local artists gifts for sale. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. For questions, call 669-4131.

Following the tour, the talented Elvin Hill Community Education Dancers will perform at 3 p.m. at the Shelby County Courthouse.
