A Dec. 4 wreck on Interstate 65 near Calera left one person dead, according to the Alabama Highway Patrol.

Lori Killingsworth, a 52-year-old Calera resident, was pronounced dead at the scene after her truck collided with an 18-wheeler.

The wreck happened about 1 p.m. near mile marker 234, said a Highway Patrol spokesperson.

As of Dec. 6, the wreck was under the investigation of the Alabama Highway Patrol.
