Tracy Wayne Mims, 47, of Calera died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009 in Jemison.
He was born Thursday, Feb. 15, 1962 in Chilton County, son of the late Willie Clyde Mims and the late Mary Alice Ellison Mims.
He was a laborer for Summer Classics.
Surviving are his three brothers, Richard Clyde Mims of Montevallo, Jefferson Will Mims of Clanton, and Daniel Hallard Mims of Clanton; three sisters, Susan Elizabeth Garrett of Clanton, Janet Mae Knotts of Clanton, and Cathryn Samantha Smith of Calera.
Friends were received from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at Martin Funeral Home.
Services were held Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Smith officiating. Interment followed in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton.
