Funeral service for Patesie Goolsby, 70, of Shelby, will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at First Baptist Church, Shelby. Burial will follow in Shelby Garden of Rest.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Goolsby, who passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, was born Oct. 2, 1939 in Shelby County.
She is survived by her husband, John Goolsby, Sr.; children, John Goolsby, Jr. (Leta), Kelly G. Armstrong (Mark); granddaughter, Jana Kelbie G. Armstrong; brother, Gary W. Pate; sister, Susan P. Armstrong and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
