The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a pair of Wilsonville residents found in a mobile home park Dec. 14.

Deputies discovered 40-year-old George Garner and 35-year-old Michelle Phillips deceased in the Morris Estates mobile home community after someone called 911 to request the department conduct a welfare check of the two at about 3:10 p.m. Dec. 14.

Authorities pronounced the pair dead when they arrived at the scene, but officers said the death does not appear to be the result of a criminal act.

As of Dec. 15, the sheriff’s department was still investigating the incident.
