People wanting to book an ice skating lesson, sign up for a hockey league, secure a caterer or plan a wedding reception will now have a much easier time as the Pelham Civic Complex recently unveiled its new Web site.

Visitors can now navigate to their needs from the homepage and book their skating lessons or the banquet room in just a few clicks.

“People want to come to our site and go directly to what they are looking for,” said Eva Shepherd, the city’s marketing director. “For the public, it’s a lot more user-friendly.”

The site also features a Facebook component, a Twitter feature and an RSS feed so that real-time information can be easily disseminated to the public.

“I can let the public know immediately,” said Shepherd. “I think it will help the public be more aware of what’s going on at our complex.”
