Josh Drum and Mitchell Holt scored 11 points each as the Spain Park High School Jaguars defeated the rival Hoover Bucs 43-35 in the third-place game of the Sneaky Pete’s Jaguar Classic basketball tournament Dec. 23 at Spain Park High School.

Matthew Bowerman led the Jags (9-6) with 10 points as Spain Park fell 37-36 to Vestavia Hills in the semifinals Dec. 22. Jake Lee added eight points in the loss to the Rebels.

Bowerman led Spain Park with 19 points in the Jags’ 57-51 win over Austin in the opening round of the tournament Dec. 21.
