Employees at Alabaster’s Jim ‘n Nick’s restaurant will be serving up barbecue of all types Jan. 12 as they help raise money for a Thompson Middle School sports team.

The restaurant, in Alabaster’s Colonial Promenade shopping center, will host the Thompson Middle School Boy’s Basketball Spirit Day Tuesday, Jan. 12.

Jim ‘n Nick’s will donate 10 percent of all revenue generated from Thompson Middle School parents, students, teachers and staff during the day to the basketball team.

The fundraiser will apply to dine-in, drive-through and to-go orders, and the restaurant will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
