Gladys Adams Blankenship, age 89, of Alabaster died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009. Funeral service was held at Bolton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at 2 p.m. Bro. Mike Byars officiated. Visitation was held Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, from 1-2 p.m. prior to service time. Burial was held in Wilsonville City Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Blankenship; mother, Lottie Adams; sister, Doris Blankenship; and son-in-law, Edwin Templin. She is survived by her daughters, Anita Bailey (Jimmy) and Sarah Templin; grandchildren, Russell Templin (Kellie), Leigh Ann Arrington (Mark), Scott Bailey (Amy), Mark Bailey (Jennifer), Alison Richardson (Doug); great-grandchildren, Madeline, Mitchell, Grant, Jack, Max, Grayton, Tucker, Jake and Brax; nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
