The National Weather Service will conduct a Storm Spotters Class Feb. 2 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the National Guard Armory in Vincent.

The class is free of charge and is open to anyone who has an interest in severe weather and or public service.

Shelby County Emergency Management will teach participants how to identify and report key severe weather features.

All course material will be provided and a “Storm Spotters” certificate will be issued.
