Senior forward Lauren Rozof scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Kingwood Christian School girls’ basketball team to a 37-30 win over Cornerstone Christian in high school basketball action Jan. 18.

The Lions improved to 8-4 overall with the win. Destiny Dillard led Cornerstone (14-2) with 11 points.

The Spain Park High School girls’ basketball team fell 72-29 to Class 3A Madison Academy at the Martin Luther King Classic at Samford University Jan. 18.

Jessica Freeman led the Jaguars (6-17) with 13 points.
