Funeral services for Bill Silvers, 69, of Shelby, were at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at Bay Springs Baptist Church. Burial followed in Bay Springs Cemetery. Visitation was Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Silvers, who passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, was born Nov. 10, 1940, in Birmingham.
He is preceded in death by his father, Eddie Silvers; mother, Josephine Woodall and a daughter, ReLynda Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jean Silvers; sons, Mark (Rachel) Silvers, Richard (Peggy) Taylor, Ronald (Lauren) Taylor, Jesse (Deidre) Silvers; daughters, Vicki Arat, Terri Easterwood, Patti Hall; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
