Indian Springs School swept Calera in high school boys’ and girls’ soccer action Feb. 16.

BOYS

Indian Springs 5, Calera 0

Alex Jamroz scored three goals and added an assist to lead Indian Springs, which improved to 2-0 this season with the victory.

Hunt Austill and Tom Rogerson also added goals. Colin Simon and Joseph Simonetti each recorded an assist.

GIRLS

Indian Springs 10, Calera 0

Laura McMullan, Dabney Hofammann, Virginia Smith and Sarah Hook recorded two goals each in the season opener for the Indian Springs girls’ soccer team.

Rachel Peters and Aurina Eghbalian each added a single goal.

Spain Park 4, Homewood 0

Simone Charley scored three goals to lead the Jaguars (2-0) to their second win this season.

Courtney Newton also scored a goal. Kristen Spence and Alex Little each recorded an assist.

Goalkeeper Lauren Arnold finished with one save in her second shutout of the season.
