Carl Wilson King, Jr., age 62, of Chelsea, passed away Feb. 19, 2010, at Brookwood Medical Center. He was a 1965 graduate of Shelby County High School and a 1972 graduate of International Correspondance School. He was retired from ACIPCO in Birmingham and an Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Linda F. King; son, Randall King of Chelsea; and Jaclyn Suzanne Stewart of Seattle, Wash. He is also survived by grandchildren, Valerie Ashlynn King and Ian Randall King; mother, one sister and three brothers.
Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, from 6-8 p.m. at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in Chelsea. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Cemetery with Dr. Tim Cox officiating. U.S. Army Honor Guard will be performing ceremonies at the graveside.
