A Pelham woman was killed Feb. 18 following a single vehicle wreck between State Park Road and Shelby County 35.

Nery Cruz Isbell, 31, was killed after she lost control of her vehicle at approximately 1:30 p.m. and stuck a tree off the road.

Two passengers were taken to Children’s and UAB hospitals and have since been released.

Isbell was taken to Shelby Baptist Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
