Louise Wood Smith, went home to be with her Lord on March 3, 2010, at the age of 84.
She was the beloved mother of her children, Delilah Robinson (Larry), Linda Pickett, Dolores Gilreath (David-deceased), William Jeffrey Smith (Tina) and Paul B. Smith III (Patti). She also had nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband Paul Bradford Smith Jr., preceded in death.
She was an active member at Grace Baptist Church in Montevallo, and she had many friends at Enon Baptist Church. She was a member of Shelby County Home Extension Club, the Montevallo Senior Center and Shelby Red Hat Club.
Funeral service for Mrs. Smith will be at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel Montevallo Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery. The Rev. Dennis Draper and the Rev. Greg Walker officiating.
She will be missed greatly by family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Annie Armstrong Easter offering at Grace Baptist Church.
