Montevallo will honor its most influential residents, students and groups during its annual Citizens’ Night Awards Banquet March 11.

The banquet will begin at 7 p.m. in the University of Montevallo’s Anna Irvin Hall, and tickets to the event are $25.

During the event, city officials will name Montevallo’s citizen of the year, civic leader of the year, University of Montevallo good neighbor, friend of Montevallo outstanding students and teachers and members and volunteers of the year from community organizations and civic clubs.

Tickets to the event are available at Montevallo’s BankTrust, Lucky’s supermarket, Regions bank and at the Montevallo Chamber of Commerce office.
