David M. Lynch, of Alabaster, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010.
He was the owner of Klean Finish Hardwood, Inc., founded in 1985. He grew up in Birmingham in the Central Park area and graduated from West End High School.
David is survived by his daughter, Tracy Pearson and son-in-law Todd Pearson; his son, Michael Lynch; one grandson, McElroy “Mac” Pearson; sister-in-law, Judy Lynch; and four nieces and six nephews who were very dear to him.
Those who knew David knew him as the proudest father and grandfather as well as a generous friend and teacher. The lives he influenced were truly his life-long passion. David was a hard worker who was always up for a challenge. He enjoyed boating, fishing and fixing just about anything.
A memorial service for the family was held.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Alabama Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.
