Harold Moore

Funeral service for Harold B. Moore, age 89, of Chelsea, was 11 a.m., Friday, March 19, 2010, at Chelsea Community Church, formerly K. Springs Church of God. Burial followed in K. Springs Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.
Moore, who passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at a local hospital, was born on August 14, 1920 in Shelby County. Mr. Moore was an active member of K. Springs Church of God, a World War II Veteran and was self-employed with Gulf State Paper Company for 50 years. He was a friend to many and well known throughout the Chelsea and Columbiana Communities.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Moore. He is survived by his children, Carl W. Moore (Elisha), Glenda Moore Bradley (Rodney), Phillip F. Moore (Debbie), Weitzel E. Moore (Coline), Helen Moore Horton; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Cathryn Smith, Ann Hayes; brothers, Sterling Moore, Joe Moore, Max Moore and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
