The Chelsea High School baseball team picked up a 12-10 win over John Carroll Catholic in a Class 5A, Area 8 game in high school baseball action March 23.

Josh Harkins and Carey Emmerke each went 2-for-4 at the plate for the Hornets (7-12, 2-1 in Class 5A, Area 8) and drove in three runs each in the win.

John Calhoun and Ash Ryan each finished 2-for-4 with an RBI. Eli Bashour went 2-for-5 and drove in a run. Hunter Tinnell finished 2-for-2 at the plate.

Zach Harper picked up the win on the mound and Holt Ryan recorded a save.

Tarrant 5, Indian Springs 3

Stephen Himic gave up four runs, including only one earned run, on five hits with 11 strikeouts and four walks in the loss.
