Funeral services for Mary Gladys Moore, age 97, of Westover, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday, from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
Mrs. Moore, who passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Columbiana Health and Rehab., was born Nov. 29, 1912, in Jasper. She was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, past president of WSCS of the Methodist Church and Worthy Matron of the Hixie Anna Chapter Easter Star.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis L. Moore and a sister, Christine Moore.
She is survived by her children, James Curtis (Mary Ruth) Moore, Dorothy Jean (Billy L.) Walton, Arnold Wesley (Rebecca) Moore, Robert Glen (Wanda) Moore and Richard Neil (Theresa) Moore, 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
