Two teens were transported to the hospital April 9 after their vehicle overturned and struck a tree on Shelby County 26 in Columbiana.

The wreck happened at about noon when a dark sport utility vehicle left the road, overturned and struck a tree slightly east of the intersection of Shelby County 26 and Atchison Farm Road.

Two victims were transported to the hospital after the wreck, but did not suffer life-threatening injuries, said Shelby County Sheriff’s Department Division Commander Ken Burchfield.
