Funeral service for Frankie Bradberry, age 82, of Chelsea, was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Chelsea Church of God. Burial followed in Union Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bradberry, who passed away Monday, April 12, 2010, at a local hospital, was born Nov. 23, 1927, in Chilton County. The grandchildren always got a kick out of her common attire, which is an apron, housecoat and house shoes. This is how you would find her during the sporting events on TV, on her sofa, watching the Atlanta Braves and Alabama Football. Her favorite entertainer was Elvis Presley. She will be missed greatly. Preceded in death by her husband, Luther Pharris Bradberry.
She is survived by her sister, Pauline Dale; son, Jacky Bradberry (Linda), daughters, Patricia Bradberry, Glenda Bradley (Jerry), Janice Miller (Doug), Denise Adams (Justin); 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
