Alabaster’s Veterans Park will once again play host the Alabama Community College Conference fast pitch softball tournament May 1-3.

Twelve teams from around the state will be competing for the championship, with the winner advancing to the national championship in St. George, Utah, May 20-22.

The ACCC will hold a pre-tournament banquet for the 12 teams at Thompson Middle School Friday, April 30 at 6:30 p.m.

The double elimination tournament begins on Saturday, May 1, with games beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday.

The championship game will be Monday, May 3 at 1 p.m.

Admission to the tournament is $7 per day.

Children six and under, along with any youth baseball and softball player that wear their team jersey, will be admitted for free.

All games will be played at Veterans Park in Alabaster located at 7305 Highway 119.
