Funeral service for Bobby Sheffield, age 72, of Shelby, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2010, at Bolton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.
Mr. Sheffield, who passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at his home, was born July 30, 1937, in Mississippi. He was retired from Blue Circle, Inc. He is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda and daughter, Frankie Payne.
He is survived by son, Stevie G. Sheffield (Sharon); grandchildren, Bobby J. Sheffield (Sheena), Nicholas C. Sheffield, Chasity Payne, Chase Payne; great-grandchildren, Gabbie, Sawyer; brothers, Billy Frank Sheffield, Don Sheffield, Hubert Clay “Yogi” Sheffield II and a host of other family and friends.
