Orvin Guin, age 79, of Jemison, died Thursday, April 22, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Sunday, Sept. 7, 1930, in Chilton Co., son of the late Luther Guin and the late Pauline Headley Guin. He was a retired freight handler with Gordon Transports.
Surviving are his wife, Doris Guin of Jemison; daughter, Susan (Rodney) Glass of Jemison; two granddaughters, Emily Glass and Sarah Glass, both of Jemison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Pauline Guin; brothers,
Foye Guin, Quinton Guin and Wayne Guin.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, April 23, 2010, at Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.
