Funeral services for Lena Mae “Maw Maw” Wright, age 95, of Heflin, will be Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Macedonia North Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, April 26 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Wright, who passed away April 24, 2010, was born Sept. 11, 1914. She was the daughter of Tom and Katie Lee.
She is survived by her son, Charles E. Wright (Doris); sisters, Margie Morris, Ruth Grogan and Betty Joe Ludwick; brother, Herman E. Lee (Pete); nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ferman G. Wright. She has had a longing to be with her husband for 36 years and is now reunited with him.
She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Grace “Gracie” Lee and son-in-law, Hubert Lee.
