More than 200 members of the Alabama Farmers Federation were in Washington, D.C. March 23-26 where they discussed farm policy, environmental issues and taxes with congressmen and federal agricultural leaders. Members also met with their congressmen in small groups to discuss specific concerns facing farmers in their area.
