Hunter Street Baptist Church sponsored the 11th annual Family Fun Day for Kids First Community Center in Alabaster. The event encouraged youth to stay in school, avoid drugs and violence and have pride in their community. City Councilwoman Sophia Martin was on hand to give words of encouragement to the youth and community. The activities included the Hunter Street youth choir, Kids First Center praise dancers, music, inflatables, face painting, a puppet show, free food and more. The day ended with a large community prayer walk.
