A Calera woman was killed May 6 after her Dodge Caravan was involved in a head-on collision in Chilton County.

Wanda Underwood, 52, was pronounced dead shortly after 7 p.m. after her vehicle was involved in a wreck on Chilton County 42 east of Jemison.

The wreck also injured six other people, all of who were transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

According to Alabama State Troopers, Underwood was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident.
