Funeral services for Teresa V. Saunderson “Mama Terry”, age 63, of Birmingham, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Bolton Funeral Home, Shelby Memory Garden in Calera with burial to follow at Shelby Memory Garden. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home, Shelby Memory Gardens. Clarence Tillery Jr. is officiating.
A wonderful lady died May 5, 2010. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt and special friend. Though her relatives were few, her friends were many. She was a kind, gracious and generous lady, adopting many two and four legged creatures along the way. She shared what she had with anyone in need. Terry was a longtime member of Dixie Motorcycle Club and a recent member of Chapter T and also attended The Church Revived in Gardendale. Those left behind will long grieve the loss of such a beautiful soul.
Terry is preceded in death by her sister, Lou McLaren.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Saunderson; daughter, Marty Aldridge; grandchildren, Todd Aldridge, Teresa Foster, Nathaniel and Cody Franzmann; step son, Robert Saunderson (Karen); step grandchildren, Robert Saunderson III and Brandy Saunderson; sisters, Marti Bagwell and Kathy Young; brother, Steele Hodges (Gena); special friend Tracy Dennis “Dino” and husband Jeff, a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
