Bobby Don Milstead passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010. He was born in Wilton Dec. 14, 1934. He was a graduate of Montevallo High School, Howard College (Samford) and The School of Banking of the South, at Louisiana University. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was an active member in the Homewood Lions Club, and Shriners at Zamora Temple.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Arthur and Eleanor Milstead; brothers, Lewis Edward, Arthur Leonard and Clinton Reid Milstead; sister, Katherine Wyatt.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Anna Milstead; sons, Robert Arthur Milstead (Carla), Donald Bryan Milstead (Joyce) and Joel Leonard Milstead (Dianne); granddaughter, Allison Milstead and a beloved niece, Patricia Doyle.
Visitation was held Saturday, May 22, 2010, from 1-2:30 p.m. at Rockco Chapel Montevallo. Service was at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. Robin Norsworthy officiating. Burial took place in the Montevallo City Cemetery.
