Bobby Saunderson, age 77, a resident of Birmingham, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Shelby Memory Gardens with Bro. Clint Harris officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 9, 2010, from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home-Shelby Memory Gardens.
Bobby was a long time member of Dixie Touring Motorcycle club and a recent member of Chapter T Motorcycle Club.
Mr. Saunderson is preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Theresa Saunderson; sisters, Margaret Saunderson Nichols, Alice Ssaunderson Preskitt and a sister-in-law, Louise “Lou” Hodges MacLaren.
Mr. Saunderson is survived by his son, Robert V. Saunderson (Karen); step daughter, Marty Aldridge; sister, Sidney Merle Saunderson Battle (Russell); sisters-in-law, Marti Hodges Bagwell, Kathy Hodges Young (Jeff); brother-in-law, Steele Hodges (Gena); grandchildren, Robert V. Saunderson III (Heather), Brandi Saunderson Casper; step-grandchildren, Todd Aldridge, Teresa Foster, Nathaniel and Cody Franzmann; great-grandchildren, Christine Saunderson, Kaleb Casper, Kilie Casper, Zeth Johnson and a host of other nieces, nephews, a special friend, Tracy Dennis (Jeff) and other family and friends.
