Wanda I. Tuten, age 86, a resident of Columbiana, AL, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 26, 2010. Church service will be at 2 p.m., Monday, June 28, 2010, at First Baptist Church, Columbiana, with the Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Bay Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 28, 2010, from 1-2 p.m. at the church prior to service.
Mrs. Tuten is preceded in death by her husbands, George Sturm Jr. and the Rev. W.C. Tuten; parents, William and Ida Baxter; two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her children, Jerry (Dorothy) Sturm, George B. (Brenda) Sturm, Joyce (Mike) Melzer and Kay (Karlis) Kammerman; one step-son David (Cindy) Tuten; 9 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren; 15 great-grand children; 2 step great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; sister, Betty Gamber; brother, Ross Baxter and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
