Pelham Police are on the lookout for a suspect in the armed robbery this afternoon at the Smoothie King, 1932 Pelham Parkway.

Police said a white male suspect entered the business and allegedly brandished a handgun and demanded money from an employee.

The suspect fled the building with several hundred dollars, police said.

No one was injured during the offense. The suspect is thought to have left traveling in a newer model black Mitsubishi Montero Sport being driven by a woman.

Police described the suspect as a white male in his 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds. He wore a tan ball cap with writing across the front, a long-sleeve blue shirt with writing across the chest, blue jeans and gray tennis shoes.
