The Pelham High School Pantherette Dance Team recently took home top honors during the American All-Star Dance Camp, which was recently held at the University of Alabama.

At the end of the three-day camp, the dance team earned the highest cumulative score out of the teams at the camp. The high score netted the Pelham team the “American All-Star University of Alabama 2010 High School Dance Team Sweepstakes Winner” trophy.

Dance team members included Hayley Barber, Jessalin Long, Marissa Wilkins, Rachel Abel, Hayden Hall and Shelby Bradford.

Madelyn Gathings, Merry Michael Ramsey, Megan Aenchbacher, Savanna Windham, Tristin Sharp and Katie Thomas were also part of the championship team.
