Agnes Mitchell Nix, age 88, of Saginaw, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Mitchell of Saginaw; daughter, Sandra Draper of Alabaster; son, Larry Eugene (Sherry) Mitchell; grandchildren, Rachael Crutchfield (Tim), Chel Eugene Mitchell, Candacey Mitchell (Mark) Brown, Justin W. Draper; and great-grandchildren, Wade Draper, Abbie Brown, Emma Brown, Eli Crutchfield and Nix Brown. She was a founding member of Life Church in Pelham. She was preceded in death by her parents John H. Nix and Sallie Armstrong Nix; sister, Saxon Nix Adkins; and brother, Harold Nix.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 21 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Rocko Funeral Home Montevallo. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 22 at 10 a.m. at Rocko Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera. Pastor Rick Bishop officiating.
