Clara Parson Duck, age 86, a resident of Vincent passed away on July 13, 2010. She is survived by her sons, Douglas Morgan and Tybert Morgan; step-daughter, Debbie Duck (Dale) Gray; step-son, Carl Duck of Garden City; sister, Neline (Willard) Robertson of Garden City; and grandchildren Shannon Abernathy, Debra Sparman, Dustin Osborne, Stacia Duck and Dustin Duck.; and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edward Duck; mother, Bertha Mulligan; father, Grover Parson; brothers, Elbert Parson, Floyd Parson, Paul Wayne Parson, Vellar Green and Nell Abbott; daughter Brenda Abernathy; and grandsons, Christopher Abertnathy, Shawn Abernathy and Wesley Morgan.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 17 at the Vincent Revival Center from noon – 3 p.m. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 17 at the Vincent Revival Center at 3 p.m. Burial followed at Vincent Cemetery.
