Mrs. Etna McCullough, 93, of Shelby, formerly of Cherokee County, passed away July 20 at her residence.

Mrs. McCullough was a native of Cherokee County, and was a Baptist.
Funeral services were held July 23 at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Charles Brown officiating. Burial followed in Mt Zion cemetery. Memorials may be made to Family Comfort Hospice or Bethlehem Baptist Church or the family will accept flowers. Perry Funeral Home directed the services. Perryfuneral.net

Survivors include sons; Robert C, (Judy) McCullough, Winnemucca, Nev., four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McCullough was preceded in death by her husband; W. C. McCullough, son; Charles McCullough, a grandson and granddaughter. Mrs. McCullough was the daughter of the late Robertson Joe and Julia Hurley Lewis.

A memorial service will be held in Mrs. McCullough’s honor at Bethlehem Baptist Church on Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. For more info, call 669-3401.
