The following are incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from July 20-28.

July 20

-Domestic violence/harassment/resisting arrest from the 600-700 block of Shoal Run Trail (highway, street, residence, home). Damaged was an exterior door.

-Rape/sodomy from Kingswood Road, Birmingham.

-Harassment/civil dispute from the 500 block of Shoal Run Trail, Birmingham.

-Theft of property from the 300 block of Highway 338, Chelsea. Stolen was a Porter Cable air compressor valued at $250.

July 21

-Burglary/theft from the 300 block of Highway 435, Wilsonville. Stolen were a .22-caliber revolver valued at $100, a Cockatiel valued at $1,000, a rooster valued at $150, 10 quail valued at $25, four rabbits valued at $20 and a large bird cage valued at $350.

-Harassing communications from the 4000 block of Highway 25, Harpersville.

-Driving under the influence from the 5100 block of Meadowbrook Road, Birmingham.

-Structure fire from the 200 block of Loyd’s Lane, Shelby. Damaged was a mobile home.

-Miscellaneous information from Jordan’s Carwash from the 16000 block of Highway 280, Chelsea (service, gas station).

-Permitting dogs to run at large from the 11000 block of County Road 17, Montevallo.

-Civil dispute from the 700 block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham (parking lot, garage).

-Miscellaneous information from Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham. (Suffix 01).

-Miscellaneous information from the 10000 block of Kenley Way, Birmingham.

-Attempted burglary from the 3000 block of Bradford Place, Birmingham. Damaged was a doorframe.

-Miscellaneous information from the 800 block of Independence Drive, Alabaster. Confiscated, ceased were four firearms valued at $2,000.

-Burglary from the 100 block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham (storage facility). Stolen were two Garrison heat pumps (2.5 tons) valued at $1,600.

-Burglary from the 9000 block of Highway 51, Sterrett. Stolen were a 14-foot Alumacraft boat valued at $1,000, a 16-foot fiberglass boat valued at $3,000, a 4-ton air condition unit valued at $2,000 and tools valued at $4,000.

-Burglary from the 9000 block of Highway 51, Sterrett. Stolen were a Kawasaki 1992 KX 250 valued at $2,000, a 1993 KX250 valued at $2,000, a DR bush mower valued at $3,000, sockets and wrenches valued at $3,000, a Stihl chainsaw valued at $500 and a Husqvarna chainsaw valued at $500.

-Burglary from the 1200 block of Highway 7, Wilsonville. Stolen were three DVDs valued at $30. Damaged was a window air conditioning unit in the amount of $150.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance form the 200 block of Auburn Road, Indian Springs. Recovered were two Clonazepam 1-milligram pills weighing .3-grams.

-Theft of property from the 200 block of Auburn Road, Indian Springs. Stolen were an iPod Nano valued at $75, a Panasonic Luminex digital camera valued at $400, 1.75-carat diamond solitaire earrings valued at $10,000 and two pair of mystic gems earrings valued at $200.

-Fraudulent use of credit card from Highway 69, Chelsea. Stolen was an M&F Bank MasterCard. Listed were items of $265.45, $217.65 and $177.92.

-Domestic violence harassment from the 2000 block of Mooney Road, Columbiana.

July 22

-Burglary from the 1200 block of County Road 7, Wilsonville. Stolen were four DVDs.

-Theft of property from the 4400 block of Highway 71, Shelby. Stolen was $700 in change and dollar bills in a plastic container.

-Domestic violence assault form the 100 block of New Bridge Lane, Columbiana.

-Identity theft from the 1100 block of Kingswood Road, Birmingham.

-Burglary/theft of property from Highway 101 Leeds. Stolen was jewelry valued at $1,940.

-Burglary from the 5500 block of Double Oak Lane, Birmingham (church). Stolen was cash.

-Theft of property from the 3100 block of Sunrise lane, Birmingham. Stolen was a Regions account valued at $513.13.

-Identity theft from the 100 block of County Road 311, Shelby.

-Duty to give information and render aid from the 4800 block of U.S. Highway 280, Birmingham (highway, street). Damaged was a 2006 Ford Explorer in the amount of $200.

-Theft of property from the 2400 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham. Stolen were various items valued at $489.

-Harassing communications from the 1700 block of Highway 311, Shelby.

-Domestic investigation from the 300 block of Narrows Parkway, Birmingham.

-Civil dispute from Sagebrush Lane, Maylene.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana/unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from County Road 42 at Egg and Butter Road, Shelby. Recovered was marijuana 5.8 grams valued at $30 and a marijuana grinder valued at $5.

-Unlawful possession of controlled substance/unlawful possession of marijuana from the 3500 block of Inverness Cliffs, Birmingham (parking lot, garage). Confiscated, seized were two glass marijuana pipes, four Dextroamphetamine 10-milligram capsules, 11 Dextroampheatamine 30-milligram capsules, seven to eight screens for marijuana pipes and about 1 gram of marijuana.

-Harassing communications from the 4900 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham.

-Driving under the influence from the 3000 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham.

-Domestic investigation from the 1500 block of Oak Park Drive, Helena.

-Criminal mischief from the 1100 block of Highway 221, Montevallo. Damaged was an item in the amount of $1,000.

July 23

-Miscellaneous information from the 100 block of Woodbury Drive, Sterrett.

-Domestic investigation from Dorough Road, Columbiana.

-Fail to pay for gasoline from the 5400 block of Highway 280, Birmingham (convenience store). Stolen was gasoline valued at $26.90.

-Leaving the scene of an accident/property damage from Highway 336, Chelsea (highway, street). Damaged was the rear bumper on a 2001 Audi A 4.

-Domestic violence investigation from the 500 block of Talon Court.

-Violation of court order from the 6000 block of Eagle Point Circle, Birmingham.

-Child custody dispute from the 3700 block of Woodbine Way, Birmingham.

-Domestic investigation from the 7000 block of Whitetail Cove, Birmingham.

-Criminal mischief/unauthorized use of vehicle from Deerwood Lake, Harpersville (lake, waterway).

-Theft of property from the 12000 block of Highway 43, Vandiver. Stolen was a Troy-Build lawn mower valued at $400.

-Burglary from the 9100 block of Highway 41, Leeds (other, unknown). Stolen wee a toolbox and tools valued at $400, two Stihl chainsaws valued at $300, a compression test kit valued at $30, a tube bending and flexing kit valued at $40, a disc grinder valued at $30, a wrench set valued at $100 and a smaller wrench set valued at $100.

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from the 16000 block of Highway 280 East, Chelsea (parking lot, garage). Stolen was an Igloo cooler valued at $50.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from Lime Creek Way, Chelsea. Stolen was about $10 in quarters. (Suffix 01).

-Unlawful breaking entering a vehicle from Lime Creek Way. Stolen were a multiport adaptor and a Garmin global positioning system valued at $180. (Suffix 02).

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from Lime Creek Way, Chelsea. (suffix 03).

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from Lime Creek Way, Chelsea.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle from River Road, Helena (lake, waterway). Stolen were 45 Xanax 2-milligram bars and fishing equipment.

-Fraudulent use of a credit card from the 1600 block of Highway 1, Bessemer. Stolen was about $528.49.

-Theft of property/burglary from the 11000 block of Highway 17, Montevallo. Stolen was a Colt Mustang .380 firearm valued at $500.

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from the 1400 block of Turtle Lake Drive, Birmingham (parking lot, garage0. Stolen were 79 Oxycontin 30-milligram instant release pills.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 200 block of Oakmont Road, Birmingham. Stolen were an iPod valued at $200 and a Garmin global positioning system valued at $200.

-Burglary from the 10000 block of Highway 42 at Shelby Iron Works, Shelby (other, unknown). Damaged were a window and a banjo from the 1800’s in the amount of $400.

-Hospice death investigation from the 2700 block of Highway 28, Columbiana. Listed as damaged, destroyed were various medications,.

July 24

-Theft of property from the 4700 block of Highway 280, Birmingham (convenience store). Stolen were 12 packs of Natural Lights valued at $6.50.

-Property damage from County Road 41 near Stonegate Drive (highway, street). Damaged was a 2005 Crown Victoria vehicle front.

-Assault from the 1400 block of Mooney Road, Columbiana.

-Permitting dogs to run at large from the 4900 block of Caldwell Mill Lane, Birmingham.

-Domestic investigation from Wildwood Chapel Road, Columbiana.

-Permitting dogs to run at large from the 100 block of Highway 471, Sterrett.

-Public intoxication/resisting arrest from Beeswax park, Wilsonville (government, public building).

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from U.S. Highway 280 at County Road 442, Westover (highway, street). Confiscated, seized were 4.5 pink oblong pills imprinted with 3600 and a symbol identified as generic Hydrocodone 10-milligram (3.8 grams), Acetaminophen 500 milligram (4.5 pills).

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from the 5300 block of Highway 280 (Express Oil), Birmingham (service, gas station). Stolen were about 65 Hydrocodone 5-milligram tablets, 65 Zanex 1-milligram tablets and 15 blood pressure pills 20-milligram.

-Burglary from the 5100 block of South Shades Crest Road, Bessemer. Damaged was a back doorframe.

-Domestic violence (harassment) from the 2000 block of Highway 25, Wilton.

-Miscellaneous report from China Garden, Chelsea Corners Way, Chelsea (restaurant).

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 5000 block of Highway 61, Columbiana.

-Domestic violence-harassment from Rachel Lane, Wilsonville.

-Theft of property from the 400 block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham (parking lot, garage). Stolen was a 2008 Zhen scooter 2.8 horsepower valued at $800.

-Theft of property from the 1200 block of Altadena Rise, Birmingham. Stolen was a 1993 Chevrolet 1500 valued at $3,500.

-Assault from The Slab/Cahaba River at the end of Highway 251, Montevallo (lake, waterway).

-Missing person from the 100 block of 12 Oak Circle, Chelsea.

July 25

-Domestic investigation from the 3000 block of Chickasaw Lane, Birmingham.

-Property damage from the area of the 200 block of Fleming Road, Vincent (highway, street). Damaged was a driver’s side door.

-Civil dispute from Norris Drive, Alabaster.

-Theft of property from the 3100 block of Brook Highland Parkway, Birmingham (church). Stolen was a folding directional sign valued at $80 and a Stihl gas hedge trimmer valued at $500.

-Domestic investigation from the 5300 block of South Broken Bow Drive, Birmingham.

-Identity theft from the 1300 block of Narrows Point Bend, Birmingham. Listed was $854.61 in U.S. currency.

-Unauthorized use of vehicle/domestic violence-harassment from the 300 block of Highway 338, Chelsea.

-Burglary from the 9100 block of Highway 41, Leeds (other, unknown). Stolen were four aluminum compressors valued at $500, two U.S. government issue water pumps valued at $5,000, two 14-inch tires valued at $150 and three tires valued at $300.

-Miscellaneous information from the 200 block of County Road 464, Sterrett.

-Theft of property from the 10000 block of Old Highway 280, Chelsea (parking lot, garage). Stolen was a license plate.

-Sexual abuse from the area of County Road 438, Wilsonville.

-Death investigation from Nolen Street, Birmingham. Listed as damaged, destroyed were various medications.

-Domestic investigation from the 3000 block of Chickasaw Lane, Birmingham.

-Unlawful possession of controlled substance from the 300 block of Huntwood Road, Shelby. Confiscated, seized was a used plastic bottle (containing clear liquid).

-Miscellaneous information from the 400 block of Highway 270, Maylene.

-Theft of property from the 1000 block of Franklin Road, Pelham. Stolen was a Kenmore refrigerator valued at $300.

July 26

-Leaving scene of accident/criminal mischief from Dry Valley Lane/County Road 89, Montevallo (highway, street). Damaged were a mailbox and post in the amount of $50. Confiscated, seized was the rear light assembly for a GM vehicle.

-Structure fire from the 2400 block of Westover Road, Westover.

-Animal complaint from the 9500 block of Highway 11, Chelsea.

-Harassment from the 100 block of Silver Lane, Alabaster.

-Theft of property from the 7000 block of Meadowlark Drive, Birmingham, Metro Mini Storage (storage facility). Stolen wee furniture and a stereo valued at $6,400.

-Theft of property from the 400 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham. Stolen was a desktop computer valued at $600.

-Theft of property from the 3000 block of Split Rail Trail, Birmingham. Stolen were jewelry value at $7,100.

-Burglary from the 1000 block of Dunnavant Place, Birmingham.

-Breaking and entering of motor vehicle/criminal mischief from the 400 block of Lime Creek Road. Damaged was the external door lock on the driver’s side of a 2009 Dodge Ram in the amount of $250.

-Theft of property from Hummingbird Lane, Wilsonville (government, public building). Stolen were a stainless steel keypad door item valued at $600 and a 3-foot steel post valued at $100.

-Missing person from the 2000 block of Highway 5, Wilsonville.

-Theft of property from the 300 block of Highway 55, Wilsonville. Stolen was a radiator from a Ford F-150 pickup valued at $350.

-Burglary/theft of property from the Harvest Ridge Lane, Birmingham. Stolen were a digital camera valued at $299, baseball cards from the 70s and 80s, a Vietnam POW bracelet, two flip cell phones, $500 in U.S. currency and knives.

July 27

-Suicide attempt from South Broken Bow Drive, Birmingham.

-Civil dispute from the 3000 block of Highway 61, Columbiana.

-Criminal mischief from the 2400 block of Highway 57, Vincent.

-Property damage from the 13000 block of Highway 17, Montevallo. Damaged was wooden storage building in the amount of $2,500.

-Civil dispute from the 100 block of Jones Road, Montevallo.

-Domestic investigation from the 200 block of Highway 22, Montevallo.

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 1600 block of Bent River Circle.

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from the 900 block of Highway 435, Columbiana. Stolen were a purse valued at $30, a battery charger valued at $20, a nylon case with phone chargers valued at $10, checks from M & F Bank, a Gateway laptop computer valued at $800 and a global positioning system valued at $300. Recovered were the battery charger and nylon case with phone chargers.

-Theft of property from the 800 block of Highway 435, Columbiana. Stolen were a Poulan chainsaw valued at $200 and a Husqvarna trimmer valued at $220.

-Burglary from the 100 block of Highway 402, Shelby. Stolen were a Envision flat screen television valued at $400 and two DiVinci surround sound speakers valued at $2,800.

-Theft of property from the 1700 block of Highway 25, Columbiana (government, public building). Stolen wee a 250 gallons black smoker valued at $2,000 and a smoker transport trailer valued at $300.

-Missing person from the 2500 block of Magnolia Place, Birmingham.

-Death investigation from the 3900 block of Highway 39, Chelsea.

July 28

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle/theft from the 100 block of Truss Curry Circle, Columbiana. Stolen were a CD case valued at $10 and 15 CDs valued at $300. (Suffix 02).

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle/theft from the 100 block of Truss Curry Circle, Columbiana. Stolen and recovered were Sunglasses valued at $10 and a bottle of prescription drugs. (Suffix 01).
