Mary S. Turley, age 91 of Calera, passed away Aug. 14, 2010. Funeral services were at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, 2010 at Bolton Funeral Home with visitation from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service. Burial followed at Shelby Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Turley retired from South Central Bell in 1978 with 38 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Turley. She is survived by her brothers, Raymond and Herbert Spitzer, her caregivers, Myra Stewart and Connie Denty; her “girls”, Angie Tate, Fay Horton, Billie Lucas, Sue Shaw, Cathy Walker, Patsy Stricklin, Raven Smith, Gloria Merritt and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
