Mr. and Mrs. Clarke and Tracy Allen of Alabaster are proud to announce the marriage of their daughter, Kayla, to Mr. Brian Carstensen of Hoover.

Brian is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Suzy Carstensen, also of Hoover.

Kayla is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe and Mary Eddins and the late Mr. and late Mrs. Robert and Sara Allen of Mobile. Brian is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and the late Jan Henry of California and Mr. and Mrs. John and Marylin Carstensen, also of California.

Kayla and Brian are both students at Jacksonville State University. The bridal party consisted of matron of honor Tracy Allen; Courtney Martin, Rachel Smith, MaryAnn Banks and Angela Carstensen. The groomsmen consisted of Best Man Paul Carstensen, Ray Otwell, Aaron Mahan, Thomas Weems, Matt Carstensen, ushers James Allen and Eric Bears, ring-bearer Hayden Davis and was officiated by Scott Elliott.

Kayla wore a white, strapless gown with a long, beaded train and carried white roses, blue hydrangeas and delphinium in her bouquet. The wedding took place outdoors on Aug. 7 at the Brignoli Manor and Gardens in Talladega at 5:30 p.m with a reception following.
