The Kingwood Christian School volleyball team defeated Tuscaloosa Christian in high school volleyball action Aug. 23.

Casey Whitmer led the Lions (4-2) with 11 kills in a 22-25, 25-18, 25-13, 25-13 win against Tuscaloosa County.

Karley Chamblee finished with 20 assists. Whitmer, Chamblee and Millie Opper recorded six service aces each.
