Cecil T. ‘Paps’ Killingsworth, age 81, of Calera, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010. He retired from Blue Circle Cement after 34 years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Alexander Killingsworth; two sons, Steven T. Killingsworth (Joan), and Greg D. Killingsworth (Judy); three granddaughters, Joy and Ashley Killingsworth all of Calera, and Tricia Littleton (Steven) of Jemison. Two brothers, five sisters and numerous other family members also survive Cecil.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Aug. 30 at the 16th Street Baptist Church in Calera from 6-8 p.m. for friends. Funeral services will be held at the church on Tuesday, Aug. 31 at 2 p.m. He will lie in-state one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera.
