Raymond Mims Parrish

Raymond Mims Parrish passed away Aug. 28, 2010. He was an active member of Central Lodge No. 70 of Montevallo and the Scottish Rite. He was a member of the Magic City Beagle Club for over 50 years and a member of The Baptist Church of Concord.  He will be greatly missed.

A brother, Jim Parrish of Flintville, Tenn. and his first wife of 50 years, Betty Vines Parrish, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Tomlyn E. Parrish; his two sons, Pete Parrish of Jasper and Tom Parrish; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Lyn Emfinger of Jemison and Jimmie Emfinger of Centreville. The funeral was a Masonic graveside service at Concord Cemetery on Aug. 30. Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home is honored to serve the Parrish family.
