Jeff and Kathy Muzer of Westover proudly announce the engagement of their daughter Marissa to Jonathan Jenkins, son of Jerry and Joan Jenkins of Mobile. Marissa is a recent graduate of UAB School of Nursing. Jonathan is a graduate of the University of South Alabama. Jonathan proposed to Marissa when she visited him in Ecuador at Christmas where he served as a missionary assistant through the Assemblies of God. Upon returning, Jonathan took a job in Birmingham. Upon graduation from nursing school, Marissa took a position as a registered nurse at Brookwood Hospital.

An outdoor wedding is planned for October 23, 2010 at Moffett Road Assembly of God in Mobile where the groom’s dad is the pastor and will officiate the ceremony. The bride’s sisters, Krista Muzer and Carly Muzer Maddox, along with her niece, Riley Grace Maddox, will be part of the wedding party. The groom’s brother, Jacob Jenkins, will serve as his Best Man. Other members of the wedding party include Shannon Rogers, Jessica Lee, Morgan McCoy and Lindsie Hernig, all graduates of Chelsea High School. After the wedding the couple plan to visit Puerto Rico.
